• Saturday, Oktober 19 - Oktoberfest at Westlake Towne Center, Smith Mt. Lake, VA, The Willard Companies will present an Oktoberfest event in conjunction with the Smith Mountain Lake YMCA's 5K Trail Race on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in the Westlake Towne Center from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m. The festival will feature live entertainment by The Sauerkraut Band performing authentic German style music in traditional Bavarian style clothing from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. The local band Barefoot West will continue the entertainment until 5:00 pm. The event will also feature a children's play area, German food and a special Oktoberfest beer brewed by Sunken City Brewery. Admission is $5. Children under 13 free. Rain or shine festival!
